PROJECT RFQ

Request an Injection Molding or Mold Quote

Use this form for a quotation that needs engineering review. The most useful starting package includes a 3D CAD file, any dimensioned 2D drawing, resin, initial and annual quantities, finish, critical tolerances, target date and shipping destination.

Phone is optional. If the project is controlled, request an NDA before sending restricted design files. CKMOLD normally replies within one business day from an @ckmold.com address, often with a short list of missing inputs before a defensible price is prepared.

  • Files accepted: STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, X_T, PDF, DWG and ZIP
  • Up to 10 MB per file and five files per submission
  • Larger packages can be sent through an agreed transfer route

Give Engineering Enough Context to Quote the Correct Route

Select the project type, then describe the part, material, quantities, quality requirements and destination. Visible labels stay attached to every field.

Upload limits are shown on the form. If the server rejects a large or controlled package, email jerry@ckmold.com and request an approved transfer method.

PROJECT TYPE

Choose the Outcome You Need Quoted

Mold + Parts

New tooling, trials and production-part supply under one program.

Parts Only

Production from a qualified customer-owned or transferred tool.

Export Mold

A documented tool designed for the customer’s receiving machine.

Prototype / Low Volume

Production-resin validation or repeat limited batches with a defined scale plan.

Mold Transfer

Receive, inspect, repair, trial and restart an existing owned tool.

Repair / Modification

Diagnose damage, wear, part change or tool-function problems before controlled repair.

AFTER SUBMISSION

What Happens to the RFQ

01

Record and Route

Elementor stores the submission and sends the project information to jerry@ckmold.com.

02

Engineering Triage

CKMOLD checks file usability, project type, resin, quantities, finish, tolerances, destination and obvious missing data.

03

Clarify the Basis

Questions and assumptions are returned in writing; an NDA or larger file-transfer route is arranged when needed.

04

Prepare the Scope

The quotation identifies tooling/part assumptions, deliverables, exclusions, timing basis and the next approval step.

RFQ Form Questions

The form accepts STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, X_T, PDF, DWG and ZIP. Upload up to five files, with a maximum of 10 MB per file. Use email to request another transfer route for larger packages.

No. Phone is optional. A work email is required so CKMOLD can return engineering questions, assumptions and attachments in writing.

Yes. Select the NDA option or email jerry@ckmold.com before uploading controlled files. Do not send restricted data until the confidentiality route is agreed.

Yes. The form sends a concise confirmation to the submitted work email and states that CKMOLD normally replies within one business day.

Describe the application, environment, strength, temperature, chemical, UV, appearance and compliance needs. CKMOLD can discuss processing implications, but final material qualification depends on the selected grade and customer approval.

Need an NDA or a Larger File Route First?

Email the company name, project type and file-package size. Do not attach controlled design data until the transfer method is agreed.
